Help Women in Need, Find Easter Eggs

New York Assemblywoman Kimberly Jean-Pierre is holding two community events that will benefit women in need and bring smiles to children’s (and their parents’) faces.  The events are:

  • Help Women in Need, now through May 31.  Assemblywoman Jeanne-Pierre is collecting donations of toothbrushes and toothpaste, deodorant, soap, razors, shampoo and other personal hygiene products for homeless women and victims of domestic violence. Bring what you can to her office at 640 W. Montauk Hwy., Lindenhurst; 631-957-2087.
  • Easter Egg Hunt, April 22, noon – 2 p.m. The event will feature face painting, games, and activities for kids (who must be accompanied by an adult). The hunt will take place at Tanner Park Playground, 400 Baylawn Ave., Copiague. To RSVP call Lasheca Lewis at 631-957-2087.
