John J. Ronan Reads His Poetry

Poet John J. Ronan – 2015 runner-up for FSC’s Paumanok Poetry Award – will read from his collected works.

His poetry has appeared in scores of national magazines and reviews, including New England Review, Threepenny Review, Southern Poetry Review, and Notre Dame Review. His new book – about “civic poetry” – is Taking the Train of Singularity South from Midtown.

In 1999, Ronan was named a National Endowment for the Arts Fellow in Literature. He is also Poet Laureate of Gloucester, Massachusetts. His website is theronan.org.
