CTLT Brown Bag Lunch Series – SUNY Micro-Credentials

In October 2015, SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher announced that SUNY will expand its micro-credentialing offerings to boost completion among students and prepare them for a higher degree of workforce success. At this Brown Bag, we will explore SUNY Stony Brook’s “University Badges” – digital icons that demonstrate achievement of a particular skill or set of skills, and which are designed to help the student make academic progress toward achieving another credential, such as a graduate certificate or master’s degree.
