New Advisers at Academic Advisement and Information Center

Three academic advisers have been added at the Academic Advisement and Information Center (AAIC).
- Matthew D’Angelo has Farmingdale roots, having taught in the sport management department from 2012-2014. He was an adviser at Ball State University, and more recently, Eagle Hill Preparatory School in Massachusetts. Much of his career has been involved in athletics, from men’s golf coach at SUNY Old Westbury to interning with the U.S. Olympic Committee in 2011.
- William Horton-Anderson joins FSC from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, where he was a career adviser in the college’s Career Development Center. He is a member of the National Academic Advising Association.
- Lauren Bazhdari most recently worked at Hofstra University, where she was Advising Dean. It is a position she also held at Columbia University. At LIM College she was an academic adviser from 2006-2012.
