Summer Seminars: Faculty Resource Network at NYU

Professional Development Seminars for faculty will be held June 12-16 at New York University’s Washington Square Campus.  To participate, applications are to be filed no later than Monday, February 6.

FRN programs are free and open to all full-time Farmingdale State College faculty. To learn more about the Summer 2017 Scholar-in-Residence program, or to find out more about specific seminars, check the FRN website.

  • Rock and Soul: Race and Gender in American Music
  • Strategic Collaborations With Faculty: Intersections of Scholarly Communication, Teaching & Research
  • Teaching Shakespeare
  • The Global South and Cinemas of the Americas
  • Understanding Story for Social Justice in the Classroom
