Submit Your Nominations for Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence

The Farmingdale State College SUNY Awards Committee is seeking nominations of students for the Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence who have best demonstrated and been recognized for the integration of academic excellence with other aspects of their lives, which may include: leadership, campus involvement, athletics, community service, creative and performing arts, or career achievement.
Please note the following:
- Farmingdale State College faculty, staff and administration can nominate a student graduating between June 2016 and May 2017 for consideration by the Farmingdale State College SUNY Awards Committee.
- Only recognitions received during the nominee’s attendance at Farmingdale State College are applicable.
- Nominations shall include a completed Farmingdale State College 2017 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence Nomination Form, and one letter of recommendation from a member of Farmingdale State College faculty, staff or administration.
- Nomination forms will be sent to all faculty, staff and administration by separate email.
- A completed 2017 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence Nomination Form and one letter of recommendation are to be emailed to:
Professor Orla LoPiccolo, RA, Chair, SUNY Awards Committee, at lopicco@farmingdale.edu, by 5PM Thursday, January 12, 2017.
Please state “2017 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence Nomination” in the subject line of your email.
Farmingdale State College can submit five nominations, and names will be announced toward the end of February 2017. The award ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany.
