Dr. Tom Corti, Vice President for Student Affairs, has announced that new to Farmingdale next spring will be  a 1.5- year commissioning program for students on track to graduate during the spring or summer term of 2018. The program allows juniors to complete their degree while simultaneously training to become an officer in the U. S. Air Force. The Air Force is targeting students for jobs in engineering, nursing, intelligence, logistics, maintenance, acquisitions, contracting, finance and more. Applicants will also be eligible to seek careers as pilots and navigators.  Application deadline for the Spring 2017 semester is January 6, 2017.

“We believe this will be very attractive to our incoming transfer students, as well as our current juniors,” says Dr. Corti.
