Speakers from the U.S. Commercial Service will discuss international business opportunities and share best practices for U.S. and Long Island companies, with an emphasis on exporting.  Speakers include:

• Philip Hammerstein, Commercial Specialist, Embassy of the United States of America, U.S. Commercial Service – SelectUSA The Netherlands
• Susan Sadocha, Director, U.S. Commercial Service Long Island, U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration

Says event organizer Dr. Jing Betty Feng, assistant professor in the Department of Business Management: “Students will not only learn about business opportunities around the world, but also some of the challenges brought about by cultural and institutional differences between countries. The event will help students learn the important aspects of international trade to our nation’s prosperity, and the career opportunities available to them.”
