Shine the Light on Domestic Violence

Thursday, 10/20 – wear purple to bring awareness to Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Help Turn New York State Purple!

Thursday, October 20, 2016, the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence (OPDV) invites the state workforce – and all New Yorkers – to show their commitment to ending domestic violence by wearing PURPLE, as part of the State’s “Shine the Light on Domestic Violence” campaign.

The New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence (OPDV) and your agency are committed to creating a safe work environment for all employees. If you have a question or concern about domestic violence, please contact your Agency/OPDV Liaison, who has been specially trained to understand and respond to domestic violence issues.
