Saving a Life from an Opiate Overdose

Thursday, 9/29, 5 – 7 p.m.; Campus Center Ballroom

Stories about opiate overdoses seem to be in the news nearly every day, but Farmingdale is stepping up to help save lives from this health scourge.

Narcan Training: Help Save a Life is a workshop designed to help you learn the signs of an opiate overdose and how to reverse it. New treatment approaches will be presented.

The event is sponsored by the Chi Gamma Nursing Honor Society.  To register, email elaikin@nassaucountyny.gov.  For more information contact the nursing department at 631-420-2229.
