Three College Polls Praise Farmingdale

The verdicts are in, and the 2017 Best Colleges polls by U.S. News & Word Report and College Factual give FSC high marks in several key areas.
The news from U.S. News is
particularly satisfying: Among public colleges in the North region, FSC ranks #9, up two spots from 2016. When you include both public and private colleges, Farmingdale ranks #17 – up dramatically from #32 last year. The college also ranked in the Diversity Index and International Student Population categories.
College Factual rated FSC in the Top 5%, Top 10% and Top 15% in various categories a total of 19 times. Bang for the Buck was noted too: In the Best Colleges for the Money category, Farmingdale ranked in the top one-third among institutions in the U.S., Mid Atlantic, and New York State.
Freshman retention was rated “High,” as was Ethnic Diversity. On the other end of the spectrum, as other ranking organizations have noted, crime at FSC is ‘Low.”
And, as a bonus, College Choice has listed FSC in its list of “50 Safest Small Colleges and Universities” for 2016.
