Celebrate Constitution Day

Thursday, 9/15 from 10:50 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.; Roosevelt Hall Little Theatre, Lobby, Multi-Purpose Room

Please join the Department of History, Politics and Geography for FSC’s annual Constitution Day celebration. For the 2016 Constitution Day event, FSC welcomes David Kraiker from the U.S. Census Bureau – New York Regional Office.
Topics to be included:

  • Information about how the U.S. Census is a part of the Constitution and why it is important that we as a nation take the census.
  • Why geospatial technologies are important to how the modern U.S. Census data is collected and analyzed.
  • A demonstration about the download and use of census (and survey) data from American Factfinder, and tips for mapping census (and survey) data.

Snacks and refreshments will be served.
