Please join the Department of History, Politics and Geography for FSC’s annual Constitution Day celebration. For the 2016 Constitution Day event, FSC welcomes David Kraiker from the U.S. Census Bureau – New York Regional Office.
Topics to be included:
- Information about how the U.S. Census is a part of the Constitution and why it is important that we as a nation take the census.
- Why geospatial technologies are important to how the modern U.S. Census data is collected and analyzed.
- A demonstration about the download and use of census (and survey) data from American Factfinder, and tips for mapping census (and survey) data.
Snacks and refreshments will be served.
