FSC Welcomes New EOP Director

Dr. Kevin D. Jordan has joined Farmingdale as EOP director. He comes to FSC with more than 25 years experience in higher education, specializing in student support services.
Dr. Jordan says he has “a passion for providing educational opportunity for at-risk students where an undercurrent of talent and potential awaits to be tapped.”
He previously had been Assistant Dean for Student Development and Campus Life at CUNY LaGuardia Community College, and Dean of Academic Support Services at Dowling College. His background includes management roles and oversight of multiple student support programs such as HEOP (Higher Education Opportunity Programs) and Federal TRIO Programs.
Dr. Jordan holds degrees from Princeton University in psychology and African-American studies, and Union Theological Seminary in practical theology. He received his doctorate in Educational Administration, Leadership and Technology from Dowling College.
