Smith and Hughes Halls are Coming Down

From Physical Plant:

The demolition of Smith & Hughes Hall dormitories is expected to begin on Monday, July 18 and to continue through the end of August 2017.

Please proceed with caution during this timeframe. Review this diagram – Smith.Hughes.Path – which delineates pedestrian access from the dorms to the center of campus.

A temporary walkway will be installed between the School of Business and Smith Hall to allow pedestrians to walk from Orchard and Dewey Halls to the center of campus to get to the Campus Center for dining purposes.
