Scholarship DL Extended

The application deadline for the ILR David Dicker Memorial Scholarship Award has been extended until June 30.

A $500 Barnes and Noble gift card will be awarded to the student who writes the best essay on the following topic: “What significant current event has influenced your thinking in the past year?”

All students, regardless of financial or academic standing, can enter. Your essay is not to be more than 200 words. It is to be original, typed, double-spaced, with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Please include your name and student ID number. No essay will be considered unless ALL guidelines are followed.

The Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR) is a program for mature learners at Farmingdale State College.

Essays can be submitted to ILR@farmingdale.edu or to Thompson 119.
