FSC Student Just Wants to Rock On!

Congratulations to Gina Guerrieri ’16, who is realizing her dream at FSC. Gina is the winner of this year’s Farmingdale Student Alumni Grant, and her $2,000 award is seed money to further develop her new music magazine, Underground Anthems.
Gina, a former Rambassador, will graduate this month with a BT in Visual Communications. Her career goal is “to design a better world one project at a time.” You can see some of her best work at her website.
As for her magazine, Gina describes it as “a collaboration between artists, bands, music enthusiasts, photographers, friends, and a girl who never wants to stop connecting with music.”
She seems right on track to publish a winner. Said Sylvia Nicosia, Director of Web Programming & Development in the Office for Institutional Advancement, and one of the FSAG judges: “She found a niche market and her magazine will satisfy the needs for that specific audience.”
