Professors Loucas Chrysafi & Carlos Marques will present the “Sums of Powers via Matrices.” All interested students and faculty are welcome. The abstract of the talk is as follows: “We employ difference sequences and techniques from linear algebra to prove formulas about sums of powers of integers.”
