Go Go Ram-bo! Mascot Madness Starts This Week
March 7, 2016
Ram-bo’s back, and Farmingdale’s got him. Yes, just in time for Mascot Madness, the annual SUNY competition in which each SUNY school’s students, faculty, and staff get to vote for their mascot as the top dog – or Ram – in all of SUNY.
First Round voting kicks off Tuesday, March 8, at noon, and ends Friday, March 11 at noon. Voting will be done from the homepage of the FSC website. In Round 1 Ram-bo faces off against Reggie, the mascot at Fulton Montgomery Community College. If Ram-bo knocks off Reggie, his next opponent will be either Victor E. Bull, University at Buffalo, or OWWIN from L.I. rival Old Westbury. Last year Ram-bo made it to the Final Four, so he is going to be tough to beat.
So get pumped, begin voting on March 8, and stay tuned for information about Rounds 2-4. Rouse your school spirit and help elect Ram-bo SUNY’s top mascot.
