FSC Winners Present Posters in Albany

Julianna Campusano Graces, an Architectural and Construction Management Engineering Technology student, and Applied Psychology major Allison Colombo, just returned from Albany where they presented posters at Exploration and Observation: Undergraduate Student Research and Creative Activities Forum.
Julianna presented “Technology in the Education of Renewable Wind Energy,” while Allison offered “Parental Bonding, Anxiety, and Stress: The Impact of Mom versus Dad.”
Julianna and Allison earned the right the participate by winning an FSC-wide poster competition. In Albany they were up against 43 students from CUNY and other SUNY schools.
FSC was one 24 SUNY colleges and 18 CUNY colleges. The Forum was created to “allow SUNY and CUNY students the opportunity to present their research and creative academic projects to a large audience at Albany’s Legislative Office Building.”
Our students were accompanied by Dr. Bahar Zoghi, associate professor in the Department of Architecture &Construction Management. Dr. Zoghi was thrilled with how our FSC students performed. “Farmingdale was fantastic.”
