Alumna Maria Cinque’s Fund for the Roses

As many of you know, Maria Cinque loved Farmingdale State College and was dedicated to the Horticulture Program until her untimely passing last fall. She also had a special fondness for roses. For more details, see: fund for the roses final.
In 2007, Maria’s support was instrumental in creating the Robert “Josh” Gioscia Memorial Rose Garden to showcase these fabulous blooms in the Teaching Gardens. Ten years have passed and now it’s your turn to perpetuate Maria’s dream. Please consider a generous contribution to The Maria Cinque Fund for the Roses, an account established by The Farmingdale Horticulture Committee to ensure continued upkeep of the garden dedicated to her dear friend, Josh. Fund proceeds will be dedicated to maintenance, plant replacement, bench restoration and most exciting, the employment of a dedicated part-time Rosarian.
