Dealing with the $19 Trillion National Debt Update

Act fast. Farmingdale State College is almost in 10th place nationally. In order to maintain or advance in ranks, we need more people to sign the pledge: Oh Say.

Sign your name and follow the prompts. ONLY millennials votes count. The polls close on the 28th of February.

As you may know, Five FSC students are competing in a nation-wide campaign – “It’s Up to Us” – to raise awareness on college campuses about the national debt.

The facts are downright scary:  The national debt is now over $19 trillion! That’s $58, 866 for each American – including you, your children and your children’s children.  Our five competitors believe it will mainly fall on the shoulders of the college-age generation to fix this fiscal mess.

Questions have to do with reducing debt by cutting government spending, raising taxes, and job creation.
