Second Call: Share Your Expertise with the Media
February 1, 2016
As you can imagine, with the scores of full-time and adjunct professors at FSC, the College has scores of experts in dozens of fields. Maybe you’re reading this and saying to yourself, “That’s me!” If so, we want to hear from you. (And we have heard from several of you since this post originally ran a few weeks ago.)
FSC recently launched Expert Center, a collection of staff and faculty members who are making themselves available to media to comment on a wide variety of topics, from consumer psychology, sustainable energy, and the L.I. economy, to aviation safety, infectious diseases, and amusement parks. And that’s just a small sample.
Want to be identified as an expert too? It’s easy. Just contact Kathy Coley, ext. 2719, or Peter Crescenti, ext. 6381, in the Office for Institutional Advancement, and they will tell you how to get started. You’ll even get tips on how to prep yourself for an interview. All we need from you is a CV, bio, and 30 minutes of your time. So, if you’re an expert in your field, don’t keep it to yourself. Contact Kathy or Peter for more information.
