Nursing professor Monica Diamond-Caravella has just joined the Long Island Health Collaborative, a coalition of the Nassau and Suffolk county health departments, all of Long Island’s hospitals, community-based organizations, academic institutions and local municipalities, dedicated to reducing the incidence of chronic disease among Long Islanders.
