Free CPR/AED Training January 19-21

Learn CPR in less than an hour.
January 19-21 from 10:00-11:45 a.m., Nold Hall Classroom 100

University Police is offering free Family & Friends CPR/AED training to the campus community during the 2016 Winter Intersession and beyond. This training is conducted using the ‘practice-while-watching’ method, utilizing video and instructor teaching methodology. It contains the latest science and life-saving skills necessary for members of the general public who want to learn CPR.

There are three courses that can be taught in the Family & Friends program. These classes can be taught simultaneously or separately, depending on the demand for each topic.

These topics include:

  • ADULT COURSE: 25 minutes (includes CPR/AED/Choking)
  • CHILD COURSE: 35 minutes (includes CPR/AED/Choking)
  • INFANT COURSE: 30 minutes (includes CPR/Choking)

Included with the course is a participation card contained within the Student Manual, which will be provided to each participant.

*All courses will be offered as follows: Adult Course will be offered from 10:00-10:25 a.m., followed by the Child Course from 10:30-11:05 a.m., concluding with the Infant Course from 11:10-11:40 a.m.*
Please note that you may sign up for one, two, or all three courses, depending on your needs. Please send requests to join the class to hauffk@farmingdale.edu
