Update for Winter Commencement 12/22

Winter Commencement 2015 will be held on Tuesday, December 22 at 7 p.m. in Nold Hall’s main gymnasium. The inclement weather date is Wednesday, December 23 – same time and place. Over 3,000 gusts are invited

At 7 p.m. the cermony will be streamed live from the Farmingdale homepage.

Students are asked to line up at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22 in Nold Hall’s auxiliary gym (only graduating students are invited to the rehearsal). Coat racks will be available in the auxiliary gym but please travel light. Comfortable shoes are highly recommended.

Pick up ceremony tickets today (12/21) 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in Laffin Hall 314. If any tickets remain on the day of graduation, December 22, they will be distributed from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in Laffin 314 or until they are gone, whichever occurs first.

Students who have received their department’s Award for Academic Excellence are asked to report to Nold 101 at 5:30 p.m. for a photo.

Faculty and staff attending winter commencement are asked to be seated by 6:45 p.m. There will be the first three rows on the audience right, closest to the platform. Winter commencement has no faculty/staff procession.

Members of the platform party are asked to be in the robing room (Nold 102) in cap and gown by 6:30 p.m.
