WHO Food Drive Wows Island Harvest

I want to publically thank the WHO leadership team for orchestrating a super-successful food drive for Island Harvest.

Stephen, Carynne and Francis mobilized the club members into action. The WHO partnered with Greek Life to collect greater than ½ ton of food (1,027 lbs.). Stephen’s truck served as the RAM-Stuff-A-Van. WHO members drove the food to the main Harvest receiving area on 40 Marcus Blvd. Hauppauge, NY.

The response from Island Harvest staff when they saw the truck packed with food was an “Eye-pop-jaw-drop” WOW!!! You make us all so very proud. YOU are making a difference in this world! Please write up this event and submit to Kathy Coley for publication in next Campus Times.
