FSC Adjunct Wins International Poetry Prize

Elie Fleurant, an adjunct professor of languages at FSC, has won the international Aime-Cesare Prize for his book of poetry, Les Yeux De La Nuit (Eyes of the Night).
Professor Fleurant has published his poems worldwide, and in 2014 was honored by UNICEF with its Europoetry Prize. He is also the creator of Diaphanism, a philosophy of reason, non-violence and collective well-being, and founder of SID, the Society of International Diaphanism.
A member of the Long Island Authors and Writers Society, Professor Fleurant has just published a new poetry collection, entitled Letters of the Centaure. His next book – Diaphanism: The 9 Formulas of the Collective Well-Being “Happiness” – is scheduled for a 2016 release.
