Fall 2015 Open House a Smashing Success
November 9, 2015
More than 3,500 prospective students and their families attended Sunday’s Open House.
Starting at the Campus Center, visitors met with administrative staff including financial aid, admissions, coaches and residential life.
General tours and specialized tours to aviation and athletics and tours of the gardens were popular. Nicole Dose of admissions estimates that 125 campus tours were offered through the efforts of our twenty-five student guides and Rambassadors.
More than 850 prospective students registered and the special information sessions for nursing, admissions and financial aid were packed.
Very well received was a new feature this year – a delicious brunch offered to faculty and staff to start the day off on the right foot.
Although a follow-up survey will be emailed in a few days, anecdotal evidence collected was overwhelmingly positive, thanks to helpful and informative interactions with faculty and staff.
Congratulations to co-chairs Ryan Neary and Jonathan Goldstein. Only five more months until the Spring 2016 Open House on April 16.
