HAAS Scholarships For MET Students

$10,000 has been donated to Farmingdale’s Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology by the HAAS Foundation, which is dedicated to inspiring careers in manufacturing.

Four $1,250 scholarships will be awarded to selected full-time students with at least a 3.0 GPA pursuing either associate or baccalaureate degrees in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Technology at Farmingdale.

Scholarship recipients will attend three two-hour Haas machinery training workshops during their award year and may present their learning experience at ASME and SME student-chapter meetings.

Winning this scholarship not only helps pay for college, it provides experience that will look impressive on your resume.
