Home-Grown Talent Takes OU Prize
September 21, 2015
Junior Nick Raia won the “2015 OmniUpdate Gadget Challenge” from OmniUpdate, for a working gadget that he built from scratch. The gadget, “Page Comments,” will allow users to write notes on checked pages in OU Campus, and will be widely used not only in FSC’s Content Management System, but all users from universities across the nation that use OU Campus will benefit. Nick’s gadget won based on creativity, usefulness, quality, and value.
As the winner, Nick will receive a trophy at the “2016 OmniUpdate User Training Conference,” to be held in California next March; plus he will receive a free conference registration and will be reimbursed for travel expenses up to $1,500.
