FSC Receives $2.9M Grant
September 21, 2015
Congratulations to Beverly Kahn, who has been notified that Farmingdale is the sole New York applicant to receive the prestigious First in the World (FITW) grant worth $2.925 million.
The grant’s goal is to improve four-year graduation rates for both incoming first-year students and transfer students. In addition to numerous development activities, the grant will place both faculty and students in mentored research experiences off campus. Partners in this Mid-Atlantic Consortium include Bowie State University (MD), Central Connecticut State University, Kean University (NJ) and the College at Old Westbury.
