When Covid-19 struck and New York State entered a “Pause,” Dr. Laurie Rozakis, professor of English and volunteer guide and educator at the Walt Whitman Birthplace and Interpretative Center in Huntington, created a series of videos on America’s best-known poet around the world – to offer a distraction, and perhaps some solace, for those hunkered down during the pandemic.
