Professor Marjaneh Issapour, FSC’s director of the Renewable Energy and Sustainability Center (RESC), has been given the 2019 Excellence for Women in Technology Award, by ATMAE (Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering).

The award “recognizes superior performance and achievement by women who have demonstrated leadership, superior achievement, and influence in industry, and have made a great impact in their field.”

“The School of Engineering Technology is profoundly grateful for the exceptional leadership provided by the director of the Renewable Energy and Sustainability Center and faculty member, Professor Marj Issapour,” says Dr. Barbara Christe, dean of the School. “Professor Issapour serves as a role model to female engineering and engineering technology faculty throughout the college, as well as nationally, as she combines her technical knowledge of renewable energy with her talents as a convener of groups to provide deeper understandings of alternative energy sources.  We are exceptionally proud of the ATMAE recognition for her incredible successes.”
