Want to Excel? Join the New Leadership Academy

The Leadership Academy is its name, and its mission is to empower student development in leadership, professional growth, and self-discovery.

If those sound like worthy goals, sign up now. Submit an application here. Deadline to become a member has been extended to Friday, 9/13. Learn more by visiting the Leadership Academy web page.

Academy members meet every Monday night, 7 – 9 p.m., in Conklin Hall Room 100. You must attend all meetings, which run from 9/16 through 12/2.

“We are so excited to launch the first campus-wide Leadership Academy certification initiative at Farmingdale State College,” said Kristy Nix, women’s volleyball coach and Life Skills Coordinator. “The program is open to all students who are interested in further developing their leadership skills and broadening their horizons. Our leadership team finds tremendous value offering a unique, semester-long Academy for committed students. This will not only enhance skill sets but will help participants become more marketable once they graduate college and enter the workplace.”
