The American Society for Engineering Education has identified the School of Engineering Technology fourth in the nation in granting Engineering Technology undergraduate degrees.

The School placed fifth in the U.S. for both undergraduate enrollment and undergraduate enrollment of women.

“This is tremendously significant, as it demonstrates our profound impact on the profession,” says Dr. Barbara Christe, dean of the School. “I am so proud!”

Adds Dr. Hazem Tawfik, SUNY Distinguished Service Professor and director of the Institute for Research and Technology Transfer: “This is wonderful news, not only for our College, students, faculty, staff, and administration, but also for the Long Island community and the entire State of New York. We should all be proud of this achievement and continue our hard work.”
