Winter Commencement Valedictorian Unveils Video of Her Steel Pan Music

Tunisia Solomon, valedictorian at the 2019 Winter Commencement and singer/songwriter/musician who has both a solo career and plays with a band called Steel Impressions Steelband, is unveiling a video about her music at the African-American Museum in Hempstead.

The video, filmed in Jamaica, highlights Solomon’s solo career. Performing under the name Tee Tee Solo, she will also give a live performance of her latest single, Sometimes I Miss You. Joining Solomon at the event are artists Marie E. Saint-Cyr and Joy Morgan.

The event is free and you can register here. A limited number of reserved seating VIPĀ  tickets are on sale, and include dinner, raffle ticket, and more. A tour of the museum is also part of the evening.
