The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program for academic year 2020-2021 offers opportunities to teach and conduct research at educational institutions and research centers throughout East Asia and the Pacific.

Beyond specific research or teaching objectives, Fulbright Scholars build lasting relationships that become a foundation for future collaborations, through activities such as developing affiliations between institutions in the U.S. and the region, or assisting in training and curriculum development.

With 51 awards in more than 15 countries, there are diverse opportunities in East Asia and the Pacific region, from teaching U.S. History in China to researching public policy in Australia. There are also awards open to all disciplines.
