Construction and Rehab Projects Ongoing This Summer

A number of significant construction and rehabilitation projects will affect access to some parts of the campus.

The projects which will have the most significant impact are the improvements to the roadway and parking lots adjacent to Orchard Hall. These roads will be repaved and parking lots will be added. Access to this area, as well as the area surrounding the Lehman Hall/President’s Cottage demolition site, will be restricted on a phased basis from now until the end of September.

In addition to new parking, roads, and lighting, there is also continuing work in Greenley Library, Gleeson Hall, Whitman Hall, Knapp Hall, and Lupton Hall. Each of these projects is monitored closely for safety and any potential environmental issues by the physical plant staff, our Office of Environmental Health & Safety and by third-party monitoring and regulatory organizations.
