Know Adults Who Want a College Education? Bring Them to the Adult-Learner Fair
FSC is welcoming adults who want to begin, or resume, a college education, at the SUNY Adult-Learner College Fair.
“I meet so many adults who wish to pursue a degree or complete one, and don’t know where to begin. We’re hosting this college fair just for them,” said Judi Cestaro, Farmingdale’s Director of Transfer Services.
This SUNY/FSC event will include five other SUNY schools: Stony Brook University, Nassau and Suffolk Community Colleges, SUNY College at Old Westbury, and SUNY Empire State College. The Long Island Educational Opportunity Center (LIEOC) will be available for those who need preparation to achieve their academic goals. Specifically created for this population, the Fair includes assistance, information, and advice on:
- Financial Aid
- Admissions
- Transfer Credits
- Career Information
- Online Learning
- Veterans’ Services
- Programs for adults who are not “college ready”
- Life Experience Credit
