It’s March and Mascot Madness Is Here!

Mascot Madness – the annual rite of spring that brings out school spirit across SUNY campuses statewide – is here.  That means it’s time to gear up to support our very own Ram-bo!

Mascot Madness – which begins with the first round of voting at noon on Tuesday, 3/19 – is a competition among 33 mascots all across the SUNY system, to find out which one is New York’s favorite. Round One’s opponent is SUNY Old Westbury.

Everyone can vote – students, faculty and staff. Even better, you don’t need to be a Farmingdale State College student or employee to vote in Mascot Madness. Get your friends, family, long-distance relatives, and neighbors involved in voting for Ram-bo. You may vote once every 12 hours from each email account you own. Once you click “Vote,” a required confirmation will be sent to that email address. Just confirm your vote and you’re done.

Here’s the voting schedule:

  • Round 1 = March 19 (12 p.m.) – March 22 (3 p.m.)
  • Round 2 = March 26 (12 p.m.) – March 28 (3 p.m.)
  • Round 3 = March 29 (12 p.m.) – April 2 (3 p.m.)
  • Semifinals = April 3 (12 p.m.) – April 5 (3 p.m.)
  • Finals = April 9 (12 p.m.) – April 11 (3 p.m.)
