FSC Hosts STEM Diversity Summit

This year’s STEM Diversity Summit’s theme is “Creating a Sustainable Impact Through STEM Education.” Best practices and research exhibits in STEM/STEAM by public school students in Grades 9-12 will be featured, as well as presentations on sustainable energy technologies, bioscience, biotechnologies, cybersecurity, and manufacturing by national, regional, and local businesses.

The Summit is co-sponsored by Long Island STEP and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. Its purpose is to inspire K-12, higher education, business, and industry to explore innovation, which strengthens STEM/STEAM teaching and learning in the 21st Century.
