Lacrosse Players Spread Holiday Cheer

FSC’s men’s lacrosse team and coaching staff made their annual Christmas visit to the children at the Suffolk AHRC (Association for Habilitation and Residential Care) in Bohemia, to distribute gifts – including Farmingdale State holiday jerseys – to every child at the center.

It was the 13th consecutive year that FSC head coach Sean Chamberlain, his players, and staff spread holiday cheer to the children there. The FSC contingent was joined by coaches and players from 91 Lacrosse and the staff of Dynamic Sports Marketing.

Suffolk AHRC promotes the idea that it takes more than the Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) to help intellectually and physically disabled children reach their full potential. Students at AHRC receive both health and educational services tailored to their strengths and abilities.
