Get Caffeinated: Have Coffee with a Cop

“Coffee with a Cop” is an event at which officers from University Police will be taking time to hang out with the campus community and share a cup of coffee. The mission of the event – observed across the country – is to help break down barriers between police officers and the communities they serve. It’s a relaxed, informal meeting where students, faculty, and staff can ask questions, discuss issues such as campus security, and talk about anything else that concerns them.

The event will be held Wednesday, 10/3, at the Amphitheater behind the Campus Center, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

University Police officers want to build relationships within the campus community, and sharing a one-on-one moment may be the best way to do that. It’s recommended that visitors turn off cellphones to allow for uninterrupted conversation.
