Student Print Quotas Announced

Beginning this term, students will be given a print quota each semester. Quotas are as follows:

Fall and Spring Semesters – Registered students will receive a 5,000-point allocation, where a point equals one cent.

Summer and January – Registered students will receive a 2,500-point allocation, where a point equals a cent.
When these quotas have been exhausted, additional points may be purchased.

Here’s how the quota system works:

  • 10 points per sheet (whether single- or double-sided), black and white (500 free sheets per semester); or 50 points color sheet, per side.
  • To buy additional prints once your quota is exceeded, go to the Greenley Library circulation desk, and pay for points using cash or credit. The desk is open 86.25 hours per week, Monday – Sunday, during the fall and spring semesters.
  • Purchased points are non-refundable. Funds will roll over from the fall to spring semesters.

See Printing Policies for more information.
