FSC Charts High in Four College Polls

The votes have been tallied, and the 2019 Best Colleges polls by U.S. News & World Report, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Washington Monthly and Money give FSC high marks in several key areas.

The U.S. News poll is particularly satisfying: Among public colleges in the North region, FSC placed #9.  When you include both public and private colleges, Farmingdale ranks #19.  Best value came in at #18. The college also ranks #12 in the Best Colleges for Veterans category.

The news from The Chronicle was revealing. Among public colleges offering a baccalaureate degree, FSC ranked #8 in its growth rate from 2006 (6,256) to 2016 (9,235) – a nearly 48% jump. FSC is doing something right.

The good news continues. Washington Monthly ranked Farmingdale #34 among baccalaureate-granting colleges for best value for the money, and #1 in net-price ranking. And Money said that FSC is in the top 40% of colleges in value for the money. That was good enough for second place on LI.

All in all, these polls reveal what we already know: FSC offers a first-rate education, at a real bang for the buck.
