FSC Faculty Members Recognized for Online Education Advocacy

Dr. Jeff Hung
Dr. Jeff Hung, co-chair and associate professor in the mechanical engineering technology department, and Lawrence Brittain, adjunct assistant professor of English/Humanities, have been named Open SUNY Online Teaching Ambassadors.
Open SUNY Online Teaching Ambassadors are awarded a certificate of recognition and a digital badge. Dr. Hung and Professor Brittain’s profiles are posted on the Open SUNY Online Teaching website.
SUNY has been a pioneer and leader in online education for more than 20 years. Its success is due to a vibrant community of researchers, instructional designers, librarians, technologists, and online educators.
SUNY has just launched a new center that celebrates, connects, and grows effective online education practitioners across the SUNY system, while furthering knowledge of the most effective teaching and learning practices in online education.
