Alumni Association Board Member Honored by NYS Assemblyman

Susan Ring

Susan Ring ’77, a member of the FSC Alumni Association Board of Directors, will be honored next month as a Woman of Distinction by NYS Assemblyman Thomas McKevitt.

Said Assemblyman McKevitt: “Giving this award to you allows me to pay tribute to the extraordinary efforts made by those women who make our community a better place to live.”

Ring joined the Alumni Board in 2016. She holds an AS in Business Administration from FSC, and currently volunteers at the College’s TRiO Student Support Services. She is Director of Branch Banking, Senior Vice President – Banking Division at Astoria Bank, a position she has held since 2003. Ring has been a banking professional for 40 years.

In 2016 Ring received a Woman of Distinction Award from Nassau County.
