Helping New Yorkers Get Free US Citizenship

Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Office for New
Americans has launched its second round of
NaturalizeNY, assisting New Yorkers with the path to citizenship. As a result, New York State will lottery off 1,500 vouchers that cover the cost of applying for U.S. citizenship, as well as all associated legal services.

The lottery is free to enter and open to all citizenship-eligible legal permanent residents (green card holders) residing in New York State, who meet certain income requirements. This means you don’t have to be a SUNY affiliate to apply for the lottery. Members of your family, friends or neighbors who meet the eligibility requirements may also register and win. To learn more about the lottery and to register, go to www.NaturalizeNY.org, or call (800) 566-7636.

When you register you will be asked a short series of questions to determine your eligibility for the program. All information provided will be stored securely and is strictly confidential. THE DEADLINE FOR REGISTERING IS JULY 28.
