“Art Educators of Long Island,” a summer-long exhibition celebrating art educators of Long Island, will be on view at Memorial Gallery from June 19 through August 15, weekdays from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The exhibition has been curated by Beth Giacummo and will feature a special essay by arts educator and advocate, Loretta Corbisiero.

An artists reception will be held Saturday, July 15 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the gallery.

“Art Educators of Long Island” includes the work of 31 artists/educators. Works were chosen from an Island-wide call for submissions from arts educators who are professional members of at least one of the following organizations: New York State Artist Association of Suffolk/Nassau (NYSATA ), Suffolk County Art Leaders Association (SCALA ), or the Art Supervisors Association ( ASA ).
